This image captured myself working on the lead actress' hair for the upcoming scene. Also in the shot is Vas the director.

Styling of the hair is finished, ready to move onto the make-up.

Here I am using a foundation palette to slightly conceal blemishes with a natural finish as per the directors request of not much makeup

As the director asked for a slightly made up but natural look, I apply a rosey tone to the actress' lips, round off the concealer, powder, blush and mascara

The character of Janie has cancer and therefore was requested to look slightly dishevelled and unwell. For this look I applied very small amounts of greasepaint to the actress' cheekbones and eyesockets to give a sunken effect

Completion of the make-up for this scene is done after mattifying and sealing the actress' skin to ensure the greasepaint doesn't wear off

Symmetry, ensuring the look is blended enough to seem natural and the right balance is considered before releasing the actress for her scene

Proving it's always best to pack all the essentials, I was able to swoop in and swiftly remove the excess ribbon from Danni's top, as I could see her irritation and knew for continuity reasons it would have been an issue

After being briefed about needing sfx for a characters demise, I brought all of the bloods in my kit and improvised a mixture of two and placement from the directors instruction
